So, we went on to Sydney Tower but couldn't go up at lunchtime as planned because it was a 'whiteout' with low cloud. So we came back later.
Powerhouse Museum was good.
And, just for the "Stunned Mullets" in the group, a whole exhibition on ........
The monorail is just fun. Great views.
The Sydney Aquarium was good. Some of us found a dead shark (just a baby one) but we weren't allowed to keep it.
Back to the Sydney Tower. We got to go up this time. Great views.
Tonight we got back on the ferry and went around to the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre in Darling Harbour. The Centre is in this remarkable building. The roof is shaped like a breaking wave. Beautiful!
Then the ferry ride home with the lights of the city around us was gobsmackingly beautiful.
The Harbour Bridge and Opera House are floodlit in red light to mark World AIDS day. Look at the photo above to get an idea. Amazing!
We will travel on the Monorail today.
